Homework Emigration

January 8, 2008

In the world, there are a lot of people who emigrate to another country. Although they have various reasons for this, they decided emigration with speculation. Because they are shocked at cultures about them in new country, I pick up 3 things; tradition, adopting new culture and difficulties. It goes without saying that countries have own cultures, so of course, traditions are different one another. It is also important to adopt them with good way. There will be hard time, without regard to thire efforts. Some people says that it is easy for emigrants to be accustomd to new surroundings. But I do not think so. People are bothered about difference of cultures and customs but they should balance adopt them with keeping their own the traditions.

The traditions of native countries are so important for imigrants, so we do not have to ignore them. For example, we should keep cultures about food, religion and language.Mothers give children mother country cuisine. It will reminds them of mother country.I think they should eat such cooking because those cuisine must be pass down from generation to generation. Religion is one’s belief. We should not be ashamed yours even if the religion is minor. If we forget mother tongue, we can not talk with relatives. To respect former country’s culture is to keep your identity. And to know  new country will be also your identity.

Through the traditions of native countries are keeped to protect, people need to chage their customs. For example, new language, customs and manner. It goes without saying that new language are important for life. Languages are basics for being accustomed and life. This is the biggest change. In addition this, it is good chance that children can learn them.We must adopt ourselves to new societies with customs and manners. If they ignore them, they may do some rude manner. Manners are neccesary to get along with their neighborhood. I recommend to  know  customs in new land because customs show you atmosphere of new home country.

It is so difficult to live in foreign countries sinse there are much disagreement. The comprehension of surrounging is very necessary. Do not be servile. We must respect each personality. The strength that overcome fear and conflict is needed. If a family emigrate, thety should think of how they adopt and protect life style ,and education for children too. They need to make original family characters. This will become their personalities. If a person emigrate alone, he or she should decide the same things as a family does. In addition to these, it is needed to look for people who are in the same circumstance because he or she will want to talk about worries.

I do not want them to be infected with new country. They should receive new life but they should not discard their mother land. It is so hard to make new own personality, but there will be many good things and kind people, I think. They have to have positive views for emigration. It is very nice experience for them to live and know foreign countries. We can meet many people and make friends!!

Homework Dreams

December 10, 2007

People work or study at workplaces or schools long time in a day.So we often have troubles which are caused by daily works. We are under a lot of stress when we are in such conditions. For the most part of causes are human relations and responsibilities for tasks. Everyone is worried about them. Thus, they often see dreams.

I think that dreams are concerned with troubles which people made. The more we worried about those problems, the more we feel stress. And we see dreams about them frequently when we sleep. Sometimes,I was astonished at my dreams because they are connected to reality very strongly. There were some case which I confused fact and dream. I believe everyone have such experiences. May be we keep thinking of our troubles in dreams. Why do we see such dreams? I think that we awake problems unconsciously whether a dream is good story or not.

Since my explanation may be obsure,I talk about the example I experienced. When I was a high school student,  I produced the dance stage for the school festival.I had to do a lot of things because the person in charge is so dull. I rracticed dance, teached it to my classmates, prepared instruments, managed money and made costumes. Iwas too busy to eat and sleep well. When I felt strain too much, I saw dreams which have the same story many times. The story is that we succeed in our performance. I was exhausted from my work but I never give up it. I really wanted to make it. Finally, my dream came true.

In my opinion, if you believe in your dreams, it will come true. You must not think that it is just dreams.” The furute belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,”writes Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of former president,Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Dreams encourage you and show furure. They do not work those ways everytimes but you have felt ” de’  ja’  vu  ”, haven’t  you? It mean the same meaning. We see and image the heart of troubles in dreams. So, it is a good way that we awake dreams.

Dreams which connented to reality show future or our will. They related to our problems because we think of it when we sleep and we dream our will unconsciously. Those dreams are very simple answers and goals we aim at. The reason why we confused fact and dream is that we have the mistaken idea we succeeded.

Homework classfication

November 5, 2007

As you know, there are many kinds of subjects in the world. Education is necessity to know our world. We study to live and we become increasingly want to know anything. To be interested in something is wonderful. Everyone can open the new ”door”. I write a classfication essay about subjects I have studied in schools. And I tell you that how do those subjects have anything to do with life.

First,Iwrite about languages. I studied mother tongue Japanese to live in Tapan. To use it right way is very important. Japanese is a one of tradition. And I study foreign languages too. For example, English and chinese. I am interestedn in the others countries since I entered KGU. By learning fireign languages Ican know the world and talk with foreign people about us. My friends in KGU tell me their customs and cultures. I tell them too. People connect countries and the world becomes one. Languages are keys to know another world.

Next, I tell about history.History tells me traces which human beings have done. I can see that what we did and what the world changed. Without history, we can not make good relationships with the others countries. We are able to be in close connention by showing that we know your history. The past is not only lesson but also a quality. We should think about ourselves and should not do the same bad things any more. History is knowledge.

Finaly, I speak about environment. Animal, society, nature, country, world, sea, space……  We can think many kinds of these. We know recent condition about not only human but also nature. These environment show message to us.We always think of problems and try to solve. For example, recently, grobal warming is very big problem. We cooperate with people who live all over the world to protect the earth for our future.

I have studied about 40 subjects but I want to study more. I think I study because I would like to know  ”good way” for everyone and me. For example, if I can learn a lot of languages,I can talk with people in the world more. And we are able to help  one another (They include nature). So, we will make the peaceful world. Education is important for us to know ”door” and to find ”good way”.

Homework 2

Homework   2

October  2                  Summer vacation in 2007

I went to Seoul in South Korea in this summer vacation.I planned this trip with a friend of Gaidai. We would like to eat Korean foods and see the city of Seoul. We are interested in culture of that country which is next to Japan. There are some problems between Korea and Japan. So I think we should know well each other. This trip was good experience for us.

When we arrived at the hotel which we stayed, most of restaurants were closed. So we went to a convenience store and bought a rice ball. The rice ball was covered with Korean laver and was taste fiery. It was different from Japanese one.But it was good.Korean laver is my favorite food. I bought that as a souvenir. In the next day, we ate Pibimpa as a lunch.Pibimpa is traditional food. In a big stone bowl,we put rice, vegetables, beef,Kimuchi and many kinds of spice in it. And we heat it.It was very delicious. It was better than Pibimpa which I ate in Japan.I think that it is one of the best sustaining meal. We had Korean barbecued beef as a dinnner at night. There are some different points from Japan. They cut beef by scissors on the net. They like to cover them with vegetables and eat them. They have original rules to enjoy it.We were really satisfied with Korean foods.I think that they know good way to make them delicious.

In second day,we went sightseeing in Seoul and Myondon. In these cities, traditional buildings and high buildings are close. For example, Nandaimon(big gate),Seoul Tower and many gorgeous hotels. At Seoul Tower,we saw beautiful night view of Seoul city.Myondon  looks like a Namba or Shinsaibashi of Japan. There are a lot of shops and stands, and we shopped very cheap price there. This town was crowded with young people. People who live in South Korea hold their tradition dear very much.So they talk about historical buildings very delightfully. But then a lot of tall buildings stand in many rows because economic growth is amazing there.People are busy and work hard. These buildings show us Korean’s great power. Of course, everyone are kind and friendly to tourists such as us.When we lost the way to the hotel, they told the way in japanese. What a intelligent they are! These cities are so lively! South Korea is a nice place. I recommend that you visit there.
